This item is in Mint Condition.  This knife set has a lot of good things going for it. First of all, it has the most beautiful Sambar stag that I have seen in a while. Secondly, the blade is nearly flawless with a bright blade and outstanding etching. The Control Numbers do not match for both knives,  but that is not unusual for these sets.  They used whatever was there at the time.
I wanted to point out that there is some damage to the lid.  It is cracked in two places. It is an old repair with some glue residue on the inside lid. Also, the warranty cards are missing for both knives.
The beauty of this set far outweighs the damage to the lid.  It will be some time before you see Stag and blades this beautiful on a knife.
