Control Number: None
Circa 1980s
This item is in Mint Condition. This instrument is used by a Game Manager to count the number of birds and animals harvested. Each Hunter is given a counter, and he turns it over to the Manager at the end of the hunt. The manager would then tally all Counters for a final count. Hares and Rabbits on one side, the other side has Pheasant and Grouse..
In Germany, the counter is called a Habsburger Streckenuhr. Hence, the name on the box.
These counters are rare to see here and in Europe. This is a very fine collector piece and a good conversation piece. It is extremely rare to see the original Information sheet. These were never given a Control Number, and no Guarantee Card was issued for them.
This one is out of my personal collection.
