A change in status moves items back to the top of the Items for Sale page. An Item that sells or a price change will trigger this. It is a way of easy tracking for owners, myself, and others who are watching these items. It is quick and easy to see changes without looking through the whole page.

Items stay on the Items for Sale page until the delivery to the new owner. Once they reach their new home they will be moved off of the page and into the Item Sold page. This may seem to take longer for those customers who live overseas.  This helps the buyer and me to follow-up on any detail about the item.

Sometimes items will sell within minutes of the outgoing notice of the Newsletter subscription. It is first come first served.  I do not list new items on the New Item notice that has already been sold.

Also,  I will occasionally place a reserve on a knife for a person wanting an item and who needs extra time, among other things to transfer money between accounts. That is the same as sold to me. On Hold, Sale Pending and Reserved mean the same thing.
