This item is in Mint Condition.  This rare knife has two things going for it.  It is a first year of production knife and secondly, the Blade is in  beautiful , Mint condition.  It goes downhill from there though.
The stag is not that pretty and the sheath has some staining on the leather. There are no other issues and I think this knife would make a nice project knife. You can’t find many Trapper’s out there with a blade this nice.
